Adding more color to our lives: we need them.

Adding more color to our lives: we need them.

In the last couple of weeks, we have seen a noticeable increase in the sale of our more colorful designs from our customers, from all over the country.  Earlier this week, as I congratulated several of our ladies for their good taste, we developed interesting email conversations about the need to stay pampered during confinement, to continue taking good care of ourselves and our appearance, and not neglect to add a little makeup as an uplifting finishing touch.

So that every time we wash our hands, we can enjoy a positive and lively reflection in the mirror - it is not narcissistic, it is a healthy and simple reminder that we are fighting back the morosity, we are not letting ourselves go down the tube.

I wear a lot of bracelets and at least one ring on a daily basis but I am making the point lately of adding a necklace as well when I go to the office.  This is ironic because, since our Governor’s order for lockdown, we are taking turns and I am by myself during my shift.

These are the combinations of colors I wanted to share with you.

1) with the black necklace from WHAT ELS, I use a gorgeous eyeliner in aubergine from Dolce & Gabbana and I make it very graphic.

2) with a fuchsia statement, no one can go wrong with a matte lip lacquer from YSL

3) if you go navy, YSL has the best colored mascara on the market and their eye pencil is richly pigmented and super easy to use.

4) to go with my beloved TWIGS by Samuel Coraux, NARS is the best bet

5) olive green big time because it is flattering on everybody: with the multi-strand necklace by Christina Brampti, I use the Julep stylo which glides, leaving a transparent color that you can build; on top By Terry powder shadow to catch the light where needed.

6) more olive green with a stylo Blackstar By Terry that I intensify with a grey eye shadow by Giorgio Armani.

7) red because we must: Giorgio Armani Maestro matte lip lacquer is an amazing lip concept which I like to use with Nars lip pencil to contour things perfectly.

8) orange with a touch of purple, compliment of Sandrine Giraud; because the necklace is so rich, I use very transparent textures like the cheek gloss BY Terry in a soft tangerine and a lip gloss by Chanel, just to catch some light.

9) Giorgio Armani grey powder eyeshadow to accompany the superb FLAME necklace created by Laurent Guillot and one of my favorites.

10) dark red contemporary necklace by Christina Brampti paired perfectly with the Audacious lipstick in color Charlotte by Nars and a hint of Cloud Paint by Glossier.

I would love to hear what you are pairing our jewelry with.
